The Rebranding of the White Supremacist Movement
Since 2015, the white supremacist movement in the United States has attempted to change their appearance and message in an attempt to gain more acceptance in society. There have been several serious incidents that have taken place that demonstrate this new ideological perspective which has resulted in the loss of life. The methods white supremacist organizations
are employing have been directed at populations that are found more mainstream in today’s society and if these populations embrace this new message, the growth of the white supremacist movement in the United States continue with deadly consequences.

Sovereign Citizen & Anti-Government Extremism
The anti-government and Sovereign Citizen movement in the United States poses a serious threat to law enforcement and the general public. These two movements while being similar in nature have very distinct differences. The current political situation in the country as well as the upcoming election cycle, the risk for both anti-government and sovereign citizen extremism to grow is high. It is critical for both command staff, patrol officers/deputies, and correctional staff to be able to recognize the key indicators of these two movements and how to differentiate between the two.
